Dementia & Alzheimer’s Care

HopeHealth Circle of Love Dementia Care

Our holistic approach to caring brings comfort and joy to hospice patients living with dementia. We also know the importance of caregiver wellbeing and support. Every member of our care team — including nurses, hospice aides, social workers, chaplains and volunteers — receives specialized training in dementia care to provide the very best care to both patients and their caregivers.

As the only hospice in Rhode Island to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association, we are the leader in end-of-life care for those with dementia and their caregivers. Our services also include specialized caregiver support groups and support services for our hospice patients in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Our support groups are open to all regardless of whether or not you have a loved one on our hospice care.

“I’m always in awe of the work our clinicians do to provide compassionate care at such a vulnerable time in people’s lives. I see how they make a difficult circumstance easier for patients and their families. It’s just an incredible honor to shine a light on the work they do and let the community know the incredible care that’s available to them.” - Deanna Upchurch, Director of Clinical Outreach Services
