Caregiver Support Groups

HopeHealth’s support groups are open to anyone in the Rhode Island and Massachusetts community. We also welcome anyone who has a loved one on our service, regardless of where you live.

Groups meet virtually using Zoom. The link will be provided upon registration. All meetings are password protected.

Dementia Caregiver Support Groups

Find a safe space to share what you’re going through with people who understand. Whether you’re caring for your loved one at home or facing the difficulty of caregiving from a distance, we are here for you.

Tuesdays • 3 – 4:30 p.m. ET 
Wednesdays • 5 – 6:30 p.m. ET
Thursdays • 10 – 11:30 a.m. ET
Fridays • 10 – 11:30 a.m. ET

Parkinson's Disease Caregiver Support Group

In partnership with the American Parkinson Disease Association, HopeHealth is pleased to present a support group for caregivers of individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. This group offers an opportunity to share personal experiences, feelings, and coping strategies while providing education and support to empower caregivers and their loved ones to live their best life. 

1st & 3rd Mondays of the month
5 – 6:30 p.m. ET

General Caregiver Support Group

This group welcomes all who are caring for someone with an advanced illness. Through the comfort of peer support and the guidance of skilled facilitators, together we can help you navigate this journey.

2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month
12 – 1:30 p.m. ET

Mindfulness Meditation for Caregivers

Meditation practice is show to help with improving concentration, attention, creativity and decreasing anxiety and depression. We're pleased to offer this group to caregivers as a form of self care.

1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month
1 – 2 p.m. ET

Veterans Caregiver Support Group

This group is a safe, supportive space where individuals caring for military veterans can share experiences, receive emotional support and access resources to help them manage the unique challenges of this type of caregiving. Facilitated by a United States military veteran.

Fourth Tuesday of the month 
10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. ET
