excellent hospice care.
The Arthur S. Robbins Hope Fund ensures that everyone who needs hospice can receive it —
regardless of their life circumstances or ability to pay.
While Medicare covers the cost of hospice care, some people are simply not eligible because they are under 65
or did not contribute to the system.
As a community-based nonprofit organization, HopeHealth is committed to ensuring that all who need hospice
are cared for with compassion and excellence. Dozens of patients in need last year incurred a total of $450,000 in costs.
This financial commitment is likely to grow in the coming years.
The Arthur S. Robbins Hope Fund was created as the safety net for hospice patients in need. Named for HopeHealth’s
longest-serving board member, the fund honors Arthur’s leadership — and his deeply held belief that everyone deserves
care with dignity at the end of life.
