Hospice access through the Arthur S. Robbins Hope Fund
Hospice brings comfort, dignity, and peace in life’s final chapter — but not everyone is covered by health insurance. While Medicare covers hospice, people who are younger than 65 or without qualifying coverage may not be eligible for coverage and can't afford the cost of care. As a nonprofit organization, HopeHealth does not turn patients away because of inability to pay. That’s where the Arthur S. Robbins Hope Fund steps in.
The Lives We Touch: The Arthur S. Robbins Hope Fund
By investing in the Arthur S. Robbins Fund Endowment today, you’re continuing Arthur’s legacy — and giving the gift of peace to people who would not otherwise get the care they need and deserve.
The Coverage Gap is Growing
This year, our patients needed financial help totaling more than $450,000 to receive hospice services.
These are real people with real stories:
• Maria, 59, who lost her insurance after she became too ill to work;
• Steven, a construction worker with terminal cancer, uninsured and terrified of burdening his family;
• Edith, 92, who couldn’t afford Medicare and needed months of hospice care.
HopeHealth provided for them — with dignity and without delay — thanks to the support of the Arthur S. Robbins Hope Fund.
Arthur Robbins, HopeHealth's longest-serving board member, believed passionately that everyone deserves care with dignity at end of life. The need is rising, and the future depends on what we build together.
The Arthur S. Robbins Hope Fund Endowment will cover the costs for patients in need for many years to come.
