About HopeHealth Visiting Nurse

Founded in 1908, HopeHealth Visiting Nurse is a non-profit, community-based home care provider serving patients and their families in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

We are committed to improving the lives of the people we serve. Working as a team, our nurses, therapists, home health aides and other professionals provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the comfort of their homes. Our patient-centered care includes:

  • Primary services: nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, home health aides and medical social work. Learn more.

Established in 1908 by a single nurse who cared for over 200 patients, traveling to their homes by foot.

Accredited by The Joint Commission and certified by Medicare and Medicaid. 

Only agency in Rhode Island to be certified by The Joint Commission in community-based palliative care.
