Hope Dementia & Alzheimer’s Services offers continuing education for clinicians and non-clinical caregivers who work with Alzheimer’s and dementia patients.
Alzeheimer’s Care Management Certificate
We offer a certificate in Alzheimer’s care management for professionals who care for people facing Alzheimer’s or another dementia. Through interactive training, participants gain the confidence and skills to work in both community and facility settings.
To qualify for the Alzheimer’s care management certificate, you must take all three dementia certificate classes for 16 total hours.
Level One: Dementia Certificate Program
Build skills and knowledge to work with individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. This interactive program meets the requirements of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the specialized care of residents with dementia in a facility.
Level Two: Managing Challenging Behaviors and Medications
Advance your clinical knowledge of managing challenging behaviors and of medication management for patients with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Level Three: Advanced Problem Solving
Build clinical skills to solve problem behaviors associated with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Accreditation information: Commonwealth Educational Seminars provides accreditation. Nurses, social workers and psychologists are eligible for CEs; for all other professions, please check with your licensing board regarding acceptance of our certificate of participation towards CEs.
