COVID-19 Safety at HopeHealth
HopeHealth is Keeping You Safe During COVID-19. Here's How.
Our comprehensive approach to infection control at HopeHealth consists of screening, masking and other personal protective equipment (PPE) coupled with enhanced disinfection and physical distancing. Strict adherence to these safety measures has proven effective in helping mitigate the spread of the virus.
COVID-19 Vaccine
All HopeHealth employees, volunteers, students and contractors are required to be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus by September 28, 2021. The vaccine is our best defense against the COVID-19 pandemic.
HopeHealth Employee Screening
All our employees are screened for symptoms of COVID-19 and are required to attest that they are symptom free prior to reporting to work. Any employee reporting symptoms is not allowed to return to work until well.
Masking and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
All our employees are always required to wear masks during work hours. This directive was put in place at HopeHealth very early in the pandemic. In combination with strong hand hygiene and social distancing, this has proven to be very effective in helping us mitigate the spread of the virus.
We have plenty of PPE to safely care for our patients and protect our healthcare providers in every situation. Thorough and ongoing training is provided to our employees to ensure that the highest level of safety and infection control is always in place.
Enhanced Disinfection
Our staff practices strict hand hygiene and is provided with disinfecting supplies to support strong infection control and enhanced safety. Our facilities are thoroughly cleaned every day with high-touch areas disinfected multiple times a day. Disinfecting supplies are available in all common areas and employees are trained in their proper use.
Physical Distancing
Physical distancing is practiced at all facilities to prevent the spread of the virus and we have adopted the use of proper technology and measures to support this practice.
