HopeHealth is pleased to announce that Kenneth E. Arnold of Chatham, retired senior vice president for Lifespan, has been added to its board of directors. Arnold retired in 2016 as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Lifespan Corporation in Providence, Rhode Island. He joined the management of Rhode Island Hospital in 1992 and was part of the group that created Lifespan, an integrated health care delivery system.
Hope Hospice is excited to announce its 30th annual Evening by the Sea Auction will take place on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Wianno Club in Osterville. This elegant evening has a “Your Passport to International Food and Wine” theme and includes dinner, a live and silent auction and live music. HopeHealth supporters from all over Cape Cod and eastern Massachusetts attend the auction each year to support Hope Hospice and bid on a variety of exquisite and unique items.
At Camp BraveHeart, children who have lost a loved one will take part in fun traditional camp activities such as swimming, kayaking, archery, rock climbing, gardening and storytelling. In addition, grief counselors will provide emotional support through discussions and opportunities to memorialize loved ones during art, music, theatre and drum circle activities. The two-day summer camp concludes with a butterfly release and a remembrance ceremony.
