HopeHealth is pleased to announce the addition of two new leaders to their leadership team: Rebecca (Becky) Miller, LCSW, as hospice chief operating officer and Jacqueline (Jackie) Nelson, RN, BSc, MPH, as director of hospice quality and compliance. Miller has overall responsibility for hospice clinical operations and patient care services. Nelson is responsible for ensuring high quality care through a variety of initiatives and a strong hospice compliance program.
HopeHealth’s Walk for Alzheimer’s provides essential funding for information, education and support services for people with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia—and families and professionals who care for them. Caring for a person with Alzheimer’s disease is physically, emotionally and financially challenging. The demands for day-to-day care, changing family roles and difficult decisions about placement in a care facility can be hard to handle.
Visiting Nurse of HopeHealth hosted its annual Employee Recognition & Service Awards Dinner on April 6, 2017 at the Providence Marriott Downtown. The event honored 12 Visiting Nurse of HopeHealth employees who reached milestone anniversaries representing a combined 131 years of experience. Visiting Nurse of HopeHealth also thanked its 120 employees who work diligently to fulfill the non-profit’s mission to improve the quality of life in the communities they serve.
